Innovative D3O® Impact Protection

The Basefrme Pros feature D3O® Impact Protection, an innovative solution to give protection for activities that require flexibility and impact absorption. The D3O® polymer pads are deployed over the knees, giving a soft and flexible fit in normal use and allowing you full mobility as you tackle technical trails. And yet upon impact, the foam immediately works to absorb and dissipate crash forces, far beyond that of ordinary foams.

The knee panel also features a durable abrasion-resistant Superfabric knee skid plate. This reduces friction in a crash, adding welcome slide protection should you fall at higher speeds.

Moulded Poron® side panels

Across the hips, Fox uses open-cell moulded Poron® padding. In the event of a crash, this absorbs damaging impact forces, increasing your safety and, all being well, seeing you back on the bike and riding. The Poron® foam also retains its shape after impact, meaning even if you’re the most crash-happy rider you can continue to enjoy its protective characteristics time after time.
