Young riders should be between 120 and 135 cm tall in order to ride this bike safely. Getting on the bike is easier thanks to the frame shape with its deep, curved top tube. A coaster brake will safely bring your little ones to a comfortable halt. Voluminous, 47-millimetre-wide tyres provide great grip on any type of ground and cushioning on poor surfaces.

The Ortler Copenhagen is fully equipped and roadworthy. The bike has a bell and reflectors on the pedals and tyres. If it’s dark, it’s best to bring clip-on lights too, as these are not included with the bicycle. Protective covers protect against wetness and the centre stand means you don’t have to lean the bike against something, for example when stopping at an ice cream parlour. All things considered, this Ortler children’s bike is in no way inferior to an adult’s bike. Shimano’s easy-care Nexus three-speed hub gears also make light work of the odd hill.

When you order a bike, one of our trained mechanics will carefully prepare and pack your bike for shipping. Upon delivery, the assembly is simple and all necessary tools and plastic pedals are conveniently included in the box.

Depending on the delivery service and destination, bikes will either be delivered in a large or a small box. Below is a guide as to how your bike will arrive:

• All bikes for delivery within the UK and Republic of Ireland will be delivered in a large box, except for balance bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
• All bikes for delivery within the EU on a standard service will be delivered in a large box. If an express delivery option is chosen, your bike will be packed into a small box. Again, the exception is balance bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
• All bikes for worldwide delivery outside the EU will be delivered in small boxes.
